Timber Frame Modelling - Project Web Site

Hacton Cruck in Preston-on-Wye, Herefordshire, is a restored medieval hall house winning the RICS West Midlands Conservation Award, May 2012, and commended in the RICS National Awards, Oct 2012. The restoration created a “house that is modern, yet closer to its original appearance”.

Hacton Cruck is now a popular self-catering holiday venue attracting many visitors with an interest in historical architecture enabling them to get close to a medieval building. Computer animations will supplement visitors understanding of the construction of Hacton Cruck and life within it. The aims are educational and content will be academically respectable.
